The living room offers two sofas, two chairs, a reading nook chair and a TV with Hulu Live. A fully stocked kitchen not only has bakeware, platters for everything, a crockpot, pots and pans of all sizes, but a bar area that lets 7 eat easily together. All of this fun space lets you look out either to the sea or the sound for some great views. Sunset means the sky is full of amazing colors and you can see the ocean in the morning in the distance to remind you exactly where you are! Bright & Natural Light Living Spaces
The upper level of Salty Sister is something special. Natural light all over courtesy of 4 sliders that give access to both front and back porches. Two skylights that fill the rooms with sunshine. Top it off with bright colors and comfy spaces and you have a place for lively conversations and great meals.
The Kitchen
A fully stocked kitchen not only has bakeware, platters for everything, a crockpot, pots and pans of all sizes, but a bar area that lets 7 eat easily together.

Vacations mean the chance to eat together and Salty Sister has a large dining table that seats up to 10 in addition to the bar seating at the kitchen. Everyone can be in the same room for meals!

The Salty Sister has seven thoughtfully decorated bedrooms. All linens provided in your rate. Upon arrival all beds will be made with quality linens. Each guest is also provided with a bath, wash and hand towel. We use quality store purchased linens, not mass quality hotel brands to give guests a much softer experience. Moms, enjoy those beds being made upon arrival. That’s part of the Salty experience; it’s your vacation too.

A bonus rec room is what this is! Perfect for kids and families to hang out enjoying extra space, comfy seating and adjacent to the lower full bath and laundry. Add in an arcade game of Pac Man, foosball, cocktail station (not pictured) and let the fun begin. A 55 inch flat screen TV with Hulu live. Lots of comfy seating make it an ideal area to experience some time with family and friends.

Outdoor Spaces

At Salty Sister beach home, enjoy a large pool, a shaded cabana with sectional seating and a functional bar, an outdoor dining set, hot tub, and loungers. There’s also a carport with extra amenities, an outdoor grill area with both gas and charcoal options, free-to-use bicycles, and beach gear. The backyard features a sand corn hole court, outdoor lighting, a new fire pit, and abundant trees for a complete leisure experience. UNIQUE BONUS: Our sweet 6 seater street legal golf cart named Poppy Tom!

Pool & Outdoor Living Spaces

The pool is big. Bigger than you need which makes having kids in floats and adults still poolside an easy thing to do without getting splashed like crazy.

More Outdoor Amenities

Want some shade? Enjoy the sectional in the shaded beautifully decorated cabana area- plenty of seating on the couch with additional outdoor poufs for more. There is also a bright and functional shelving area to serve food or make cocktails that can be enjoyed at a bar that seats 4. It is full of function and comfort.

Also outside is a dining set for 4 with umbrella, a hot tub and loungers for more relaxing pool side. Need a bit more room? Hit the carport area that has an additional fridge and a bar with 4 stools if you need some adult time in full shade.

Added recently is a large outdoor grill area- gather the family around the oversized picnic table while you choose your preferred grill – there is both a gas and charcoal grill. Additional seating as well for those who want to chat it up while the grillmaster works.

Bonus: Salty Sister has 4 bikes for your use for FREE. Also, 5 beach chairs, umbrellas (as long as they last through season) and immediate friends and return guests get FREE use of our new street legal 6 seater golf cart. New guests can rent for a nominal fee.

Lastly, a backyard full of gorgeous trees and corn hole. A sand corn hole court is a great way to spend time together with chairs and drink holders for players and fans. Top it off with outdoor lighting if you extend the games late night for quality time competing with family and friends. And now a outdoor fire pit has been added to make more places and spaces for families to gather. Fire wood will be stocked at beginning of season and lasts until it lasts.

Yes. A 6-seater street legal golf cart named affectionally after Keith’s Dad, Poppy Tom. This is offered FREE to all returning guests (another reason folks come back) and for a nominal fee for new guests. It CHANGES a vacation. There is nothing better than cruising around Duck in this gem of a ride.

With Beach Views. Salty Sister has the best of it all. It offers prime location to the Duck Boardwalk and Shops and still gives you some distant ocean and sound views. It’s 3 decks give you experiences on each one that make a stay full of memories and fun. The back upper deck has a table and cushioned chairs for 4, making it easy to overlook the corn hole games, soak up the bright afternoon sun or view the stunning sunsets over the sound that light up the sky. The upper front deck has colors that pop with a bar table and chairs to see the sun rise in the am as you sip your morning coffee. Additional chairs and seating also let everyone join as you appreciate the beauty of where you are. The mid level deck is ideal if you want to check out the pool fun and still relax in either 2 rocking chairs with cushions, 2 hammock chairs or 2 Adirondack chairs that are ideal for relaxing. These spaces were set up so you can grab a chair, pour a drink, catch up and enjoy what vacation is all about- relaxing and soaking up the memories.
