Salty Story is the perfect choice for families that have multiple needs: younger kids, older kids, grandparents, and everyone else. The elevator makes it easy to get from floor to floor.
The Upper level living has seating for everyone and more. When you think of picking a place to gather TOGETHER but still have some space to decompress, Salty Story checks that box.
The bedrooms are all bright, full of thought and most importantly have the feeling like staying at a friends place vs. a standard beach rental. That’s what we do!

The Salty Story has seven thoughtfully decorated bedrooms. All linens provided in your rate. Upon arrival all beds will be made with quality linens. Each guest is also provided with a bath, wash and hand towel. We use quality store purchased linens, not mass quality hotel brands to give guests a much softer experience. Moms, enjoy those beds being made upon arrival. That’s part of the Salty experience; it’s your vacation too.

Yes. A claw foot tub outside. Best spot in the house.
Inspired by our trips to Sandals and our friends (Brittany and Sam), we knew we wanted this. An outdoor clawfoot tub with both privacy and views. Jennie LOVES baths. Baths with cocktails, baths with music, baths with bubbles and baths that just give you a breather. And with the backdrop of God’s wonder why not? This tub was restored by Jennie and Keith, and it may be one of our most prized works!
Because we can.
This tub allows you to soak and turn to the left and see the sound and the right and see the ocean. And also look up to enjoy the nighttime sky full of stars or the daytime sky full of sun. This is directly off the Flamingo bedroom (go ahead families start fighting for that room). Our vote: whoever found our home should get first pick on this space to make your vacation even more awesome.
Salty Story offers a LARGE lower level space that is meant for families and groups to gather. It is located in the bottom level of the home. This room has a 9 foot pool table, Mrs. Pac Man, game table and chairs, bar with seating, TV, and a kitchenette with full sized fridge, microwave and sink. Ideal for families or groups of different ages to enjoy different spaces. In other words- send the older kids down here! This area connects directly to the pool area via slider doors. It also has elevator access in kitchenette. The She Shed bedroom, WC accessible King bedroom and bath are also directly off this area.
Outdoor Spaces
We LOVE making our outdoor spaces extensions of what we do inside our homes. We think every corner and every place is a setting for memories to be made, conversations to start, laughs to be had and stories to start. We set up these spaces to be places to play, eat, drink and enjoy. First, because WHY NOT? Outdoor living is fantastic at the beach. Second, it’s functional, way easier to clean up (which means less stress for everyone) and finally, it gives room for everyone. UNIQUE BONUS: Our sweet 6 seater street legal golf cart named Mabel!
The decks and view are the pride and joy of Salty Story.
Pool & Outdoors
The Pool area includes a lounging area with a row of lounge chairs and an umbrella for sun and shade lovers. The shaded cabana space with tin roof and twinkle lights is the best conversation area for all day or night. A bar with 4 stools and beverage ice cooler makes it the most obvious place for cocktail poolside Seating everywhere- bar stools, a table and chairs, bench, hammock and pool chairs too. The pool area is the BEST place for impromptu family rallies where kids play, adults sip drinks and grandparents enjoy the shaded area on a couch soaking it all in.
More Outdoor Amenities
The top deck area off the main living space is full of seating (including loungers) and of course the ocean and sound views are included. This home offers the largest deck areas of all the Salty Beach Houses and we made use of every inch of space outside!
